PLEASE NOTE – LUNCH NOOK IS CANCELED DUE TO COVID-19 RISK MANAGEMENT AT THIS TIME
Once a month, we open up the doors at Helping Hands to eat a meal together on a Sunday afternoon. The doors open at 1:00 and people can come in and enjoy sandwiches and/or soup and chili with delicious desserts, as well as time together as we talk and hang out. It’s always a great time to relax and show those who join us that we care for them. Luke 14 says, “The next time you put on a dinner, don’t just invite your friends and family and rich neighbors… Invite some people who never get invited out… You’ll be, and experience, a blessing.”
If you are interested in finding out how you can help, either with providing some food or coming down to help out for a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon, please contact the Mission.
You could prepare a meal snack or dessert for all to enjoy.
Or volunteer your time – All are welcome to come and build into the lives of those who attend.
If you would like to know more about the Lunch Nook, or would like to volunteer, please fill out the form below.

The Spirit of God, the Master, is on me
because God anointed me.
He sent me to preach good news to the poor,
heal the heartbroken,
Announce freedom to all captives,
pardon all prisoners.
God sent me to announce the year of his grace
To care for the needs of all who mourn,
give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes,
Messages of joy instead of news of doom,
a praising heart instead of a weak spirit.
– Isaiah 61:1-3 (The Message)
