Each Person…

This week is Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week. We’re going to use this week to talk about the complexity of this issue in Hamilton.

At Helping Hands, we believe that each person has something to contribute and is needed in community. Our theme for this week is “Each Person”, and we’re going to think about…

➡️ What each person deserves
➡️ What each person is worth
➡️ What each person can do to solve homelessness and hunger in Hamilton.

Each person is affected by this crisis in our city, but each person also has a unique gift that they can use to build community for those facing hunger and homelessness.

How will you see yourself in Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week?

Please look forward to our posts everyday on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter! We’ll also be publishing blog posts that will be featured on this page. These blog posts will be featured on this page and will go deeper into some of the topics of hunger and homelessness.

Even though Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week is only one week, we’ve decided to extend it to two weeks until November 28th for Giving Tuesday. For Giving Tuesday, we have a goal to raise $5,000! You can make a donation at the form below and help us continue to serve people in our community who are facing hunger and homelessness.
