If you are feeling safe at home, please stay home to help end COVID. However, we are here for you if you need support during this difficult time.

Our Outreach Worker (Jeff) is available from 1-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on the sidewalk, eager to connect (masked and distanced) with people who are in need of support. Our store and physical space is open by appointment only to those who are symptom-free and have not been in contact with someone with COVID, one appointment at a time. Feel free to contact us by stopping by from 1-4 pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday, calling or leaving us a Facebook message. We are here for the community and we are praying with you that lockdown will have its effect and COVID will be under control soon! ALL CLOTHING AND BEDDING DONATIONS CURRENTLY ON HOLD.

We hope to open again soon, once again with with reduced hours and programs. COVID-19 safety guidelines will, as previously, be in place to keep everyone healthy including:

  1. Clean hands and verbal screening coming into Helping Hands
  2. All touched surfaces cleaned regularly
  3. Physical distancing and mask wearing enforced
  4. Screening questions for all entering

Reusable masks are available to all, with the opportunity to bring in dirty masks for laundering. We thank the City of Hamilton, churches and community members for supplying us with face masks. Disposable masks are also available, thanks to United Way.

Reaching out, one hand at a time,
with love and respect.
