If you do not need assistance to book appointments, don’t urgently require support, or if you are feeling sick at all, please stay home to help end COVID. However, we are here for you if you need support during this difficult time.

April 16 UPDATE: Due to the increased Stay At Home Order measures, we will no longer be connecting in gatherings of any kind. We will continue to support our community by helping people set up appointments for vaccinations as well as other appointments or arrangements that require online access. To receive this support, or other emergency support as we are able, please stop by from 1-4 pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, call or leave us a Facebook message to arrange an appointment. We are here for the community and we are praying with you that this Stay At Home Order will have its effect and COVID will be under control soon! CLOTHING DONATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME. PLEASE STAY AT HOME IF YOU ARE AT ALL ABLE TO DO SO.

COVID-19 safety guidelines will continue to be in place for anyone entering our building (including any staff and volunteers) to keep everyone healthy including:

  1. Clean hands and verbal screening coming into Helping Hands
  2. All touched surfaces cleaned regularly
  3. Physical distancing and mask wearing enforced
  4. Screening questions for all entering

Disposable masks are available for all, thanks to United Way Hamilton & Halton.

Reaching out, one hand at a time,
with love and respect.
